• Development of an embedded data acquisition and control system based on ESP32
• Integration of high-resolution ADC (ADS1256) via SPI
• Implementation of a web server and single-page web interface (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
• Location Schwarzenbruck near Nuremberg, hybrid option

Your Role

You support the development of an embedded data acquisition and control system built around an ESP32 microcontroller. You interface a high-resolution ADC (ADS1256), implement SPI communication and develop basic on-device signal processing including scaling, plausibility checks and fault detection.

In addition, you design a robust embedded control and state concept (initialization, operation, error handling) and implement a web server directly on the ESP32. You create a single-page web interface with start/stop controls, status indication and live data visualization. The system is accessible via a local device-hosted WLAN, including a restricted client usage concept (kiosk-style operation).

You work hands-on across hardware, firmware and web-based UI in a clearly defined technical project with tangible results.

• Basic experience in C / C++ or embedded systems
• Interest in hardware-near software development and system integration
• Structured, independent and reliable working style
• Basic knowledge of HTML / CSS / JavaScript is beneficial (no prior web experience required)

If you are interested in hands-on embedded systems development and enjoy working at the interface of hardware and software, we look forward to your application.
