From Concept to First Impressions: The Development Journey of MAMMOKNIFE™

Following its unveiling at ESTRO 2026, we are excited to share a closer look at the development journey of MAMMOKNIFE™, an innovative breast radiotherapy platform created in collaboration with our partner EHMET Health.

The project represents a new approach to breast radiotherapy, combining patient-centered treatment concepts, industrial design, and precision engineering from the earliest stages of development. Rather than focusing solely on technical performance, the platform has been shaped around the complete user experience – for both clinicians and patients.

From initial concept sketches and design studies to the visual identity and platform concept presented in Stockholm, every development step has been guided by close collaboration between clinical experts, designers, and engineering teams. This interdisciplinary approach ensures that usability, workflow integration, and technical feasibility evolve together throughout the design process.

The impressions shared from ESTRO 2026 offer an early glimpse into a platform that is still evolving, but already reflects a clear vision for the future of breast radiotherapy.
